Ending the Activist Burnout Cycle
Most of us would not call ourselves activists because of the presumed commitment it takes to keep the fire burning around a cause. The tireless efforts of activists usually mean less time doing the frivolous things we all enjoy and, for some, burnout is right around the corner. Social psychologist Devon Price writes about wanting to do better and taking the approach that “all meaningful activism has to be small and humbly sustainable.”
