This quote comes from Michelle Chester, MD, who administered the first Covid-19 vaccine in the United States to Sandra Lindsay, RN, an intensive care unit nurse at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York City. By a stroke of pure coincidence, both Chester and Lindsay are Black women with roots in the West Indies.
