Jordan McGowan is a husband, a father, a professional — and because he is Black, lives with a very real fear of becoming a hashtag. He writes for LEVEL: “The point of this eulogy is not to ask that you all glorify me as a martyr. When you start to post about me, I just ask that you tell my real story. I was a Black man in America; therefore, plenty of people will find a way to justify my murder.”
