Is Food Causing Us to Be Racist?
What we eat impacts our mental state
There’s a lot of blame to go around when it comes to why 2025 America is still confronting overt and systemic racism and other forms of hatred.
Many policies of the left arguably have kept some Black people back, as the programs didn’t truly uplift people. Free food and free housing feeds and houses, which is often necessary regardless of race, but it doesn’t help anyone climb the economic ladder or improve a person’s ability to fend for themselves.
Policies of the right usually don’t acknowledge our racial problems, and in some cases, still seek to turn the clock back on everything from voting rights to education. Their answer to the left’s bankrupt social policies isn’t to come up with better ideas. It’s just to ignore or deny the problems.
And today of course we have narcissistic politicians and so-called leaders who unabashedly and regularly stoke the flames of hatred. As a result, Nazi marches, far right-wing rallies and online racism against Black people and others are all at record levels. As are far-left rallies which vilify Jews and place people into either the “oppressor” or “oppressed” category, with little room for critical thinking.
Hate crimes are through the roof right now.
