It’s a tough pill to swallow but here is an expert opinion on abortion rights and race: “The anti-abortion movement is rooted in White women’s fear that they will not have enough babies to compete with the number of Black and immigrant babies.”

That’s according to reproductive justice advocate Renee Bracey Sherman, who talks to ZORA about her life’s work and the link between racism and abortion rights.
