Wakanda Series Will Come to Disney+ Thanks to Ryan Coogler’s 5-Year Deal

Ryan Coogler, director of Black Panther, Creed, and Fruitvale Station, has signed his production firm, Proximity Media, into a five-year deal with Disney.

Coogler will make a show centered around the Kingdom of Wakanda for Disney+, with the potential to develop other projects outside of the Marvel Universe as well, according to The Verge.
